Trussardi Show Runway Spring Summer 2023

How can the concept of two radical designers renovate the materialistic codes of an Italian legacy brand into a covetable,  new version of itself? That’s Trussardi, which has established as creative leaders GmbH’s Serhat Isik and Benjamin Huseby.

Here are all the looks from Trussardi Show Runway Spring Summer 2023 on Flushpost.

Their second collection, shown in the gilded salons of Palazzo Clerici, showed hints of how they’re relaxing into their role, after a  very strong first outing was a break with the past, pure to the pinpoint of subversion. Certainly severed unnecessary ties, unlocking the door to a better believed, thought-out process was played out in today’s show.

This moment was more about trying to create a closet that makes meaning for Trussardi, they said backstage. It may sound dull, but we’re getting our own vision, blending modernity with history. Drilling into the brand’s library was “excavation work,” they explained. There’s tons of richness there—the exceptional leather work, the ’80s, and ’90s sexy silhouettes, the femininity, and masculine glamour.”

These elements were obtained back for spring. Sensuality was recreated in fluid dresses with twisted necklines.

The most suitable presentation of leatherwork was a fake embossed crocodile bomber. The designers also put their hand on denim, one of the house’s signatures, delivering sculptured pieces glamorized with crystal.
