Susan Fang Show Spring Summer 2023 (All Looks)
Susan Fang desired to satisfy with positivity for spring. While London is yet in a reflective mood after yesterday’s historic event, the designer’s deep creations were shown in her brand confectionery shades and practical silhouettes. “To be combative in periods of the problem is easier, so rather I wanted to question myself by examining feelings of love and peace, as well as the craft of allowing trial of what you can’t handle,” Fang said before her first London runway show.
Fang maintained her ultra-feminine codes, as evidenced by the tulle, feathers, ribbons, and beaded macramé. There was a combination of separates suitable for a summer wardrobe, from a mightily beaded cut-out dress in dusty rose to a balm pair of shorts
Fang changed the indoor pool of the Marshall Street Leisure Centre, an amazing 1930s building situated in the center of London. As models stepped across the pool on precariously positioned pontoons, there were oversized balloons in the middle—which the designer directed to as “peace bombs”—wrapped in leftover printed material from the collection. Perhaps the positive set-up and bright attire were precisely what we all must see today.
