      Sometimes in fashion, strange things happen, part mysterious. The very exact ideas and motivations travel unpredictably from designer to designer, and, unrevealed to them, get teleported. This was the issue at today’s Sunni show, which communicated the idea of twins no smaller than Alessandro Michele, whose Gucci show was produced just hours before with similar twin models.

         There’s consistently a social analysis in Sunnei’s approach, and this season the designers’ show, which was more of a performative show, they said, was about how the fashion system can change the perception of identity, warping the sense of self into numerous, often imaginary and fractured expressions. The rather pompous and vague concept seemed unimaginable to be generated in fashion show form, but the Sunnis have the determination of confidence and were unfazed by the challenge.
